In 2006 Miro launched Surefire Agency to represent underserved electronic artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Surefire soon became world-renowned for representing independent music inclusive of marginalized communities. After Surefire’s extensive work with MUTEK, Miro took on the influential festival of digital creativity himself. San Francisco is the 7th city to host an annual variant of the festival and, fans agree, is resoundingly a “no brainer” for the inaugural US edition.
